(Nee Pelkey) of Pound WI. Was called into God's arms on February 3, 2008 at the age of 83 years in Mesa, Arizona. Beloved wife to her loving husband Emil for 63 years. Cherished mother to daughters Charlene (Richard) Wenzel and Stephanie (James) Jens. Proud grandmother of seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.Further survived by brother Louis (Jane) Pelkey, sister Nancy Snouffer, nieces,nephews, other family and friends. Dorothy and Emil were married in New York City in 1944 during WWII. They made their home in Wisconsin where they both worked and raised their two daughters. During retirement, they enjoyed their lake home in the summer and the sunshine of Arizona in winter. Dorothy was a woman who always ahead of her time with a sense of humor and a kind and generous heart. She passed her strong will and strength of character to her children and grandchildren. She shared good times and much laughter with many special friends who loved her dearly. She faced her final days surrounded by family with courage and an overwhelming peace. Her spirit will live in our hearts forever. Visitation SAT Feb. 9th 9:30-11:00 A.M. at DIVINE MERCY PARISH, 1700 13th Avenue, South Milwaukee. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M.
