Nelson, Dorothea F. (nee Lannewehr) Aged 88, entered her Heavenly Home on Monday, March 29, 2010. Dorothea was the beloved wife of the late Gable L. Nelson, loving mother of Nancy (David) Wareham and devoted grandmother to Amy Wareham. She is the cherished aunt of Sharon (Ken) Meloy, Nichols (Pattie) Nelson, Lorri (David) Wanserski and Debbie (Peter) Reichl, as well as special great-aunt to Madelyn Reichl. Dorothea is also survived by her cousin Edith (Robert) Vanderkin, other relatives and faithful friends. Born on May 16, 1921 in the Town of Lake (now Milwaukee) to Ernst and Clara Lannewehr, Dorothea went on to graduate from Bay View High School in 1939. She received her Bachelor of Science from Milwaukee State Teachers College in 1943 and taught kindergarten at Trowbridge Street Elementary School for many years. Dorothea was also a life-long, faithful member of Christ Church, U.C.C. Visitation at the funeral home on Saturday, April 3 from 9-11AM. Funeral Service 11 AM. Interment to follow Woodlawn Cemetery.
