(nee Bertoni) Doris Hollweck passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Gerald Hollweck. Cherished mother of Linda (Kenneth) Balfanz, James (Milena) Vohla, Nancy Smith, Lisa Skiff, Christopher (Donna) Slater, and the late Linda Jackson. Adored grandmother of Diane (Kyle) Gunby, Melissa and Jennifer Balfanz, Jakob and Louis Smith, Rachel, Juliane, Edward, and the late Anthony Jackson, Nicholas Hollweck, Matthew, Elizabeth, and Ryan Skiff, and Zachary and Savannah Slater. Dear sister of Louis (the late Dolores) Bertoni, Angelo (Joan) Bertoni, Carol (Robert) Tollefson, Kathleen (Edward) Muencheberg, and the late Phillip Bertoni. Dear sister-in-law of Gail (Peter) Duecker, the late Curtis (the late Rosemarie) Hollweck, and Joseph (Julia) Hollweck. Further survived by 6 great-grandchildren and extended family. Doris worked several years as a bowling instructor at Red Carpet Lanes, as well as providing private lessons. She is best remembered for her many successful years of bowling in the Milwaukee Area. Doris was inducted into the Milwaukee Bowling Hall of Fame in 1986 and the Wisconsin Womens Bowling Association Hall of Fame in 1994. The family would like to give a sincere appreciation and thanks to Hometown Hospice for their excellent care of Doris in her final days.
