(nee Rupprecht) Age 65. Passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 27, 2011 with her loving sisters at her side. Survived by Dinah (Doug) Short of Adams, WI and Daun (Ron) Puetz of Muskego, WI. Donna joins her beloved husband Dave who preceded her to his reward at the much too young age of 52. Donna is also survived by her step-children Dale (Angela) Welloch of Lenexa, KS and Dawn Vicari of Franksville, WI, and grandchildren Alayna and Anthony. Aunt Donna will be missed by nieces and nephews Christal and Jenny Short, Kate (Bob) Gainer, Joe Puetz and Alex Puetz, Jake Short, Shana Short, Ginger Hohenstein and Jason (Sarah) Hohenstein. Most specially, Donna will be missed by Tim Coolidge who has been her helper and Tuesday plus weekend companion since the death of his best friend, Dave Welloch. The family wants to thank Tim for his affection and dedication to Donna for all these years. Born in Milwaukee, WI June 11, 1946 the middle child and special daughter of Harold and Alma Rupprecht, Donna was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes and lived a life without complaint as a Type I diabetic. An accomplished pianist, she was quick with a laugh and always ready to help others. Donna never met a new recipe she didn't like to try for herself and a friend. Her companions for many years Molly, mostly mutt and then Sadie, mostly beagle are surely glad to be getting too many treats from her again. We love you Sister, Mom, and Auntie and we miss you, but we know you are in God's loving arms. Visitation at PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH of New Berlin, 17651 W. Small Rd. on Friday September 30, 2011, 10:00-11:45 AM. Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon. Interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
