Entered into Eternal Life on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the age of 74. Devoted husband of 54 years to Diane (nee Steinbach). Loving dad of Daniel (Shelly) Rode and Deanna Rode. Proud grandpa of Braden, Adam and Logan. Brother of Lynne (Wayne) Happel and Jan (Bill) Tweeden. Dear brother-in-law of Benny Steinbach. Further survived by many relatives and friends and his four legged companion Sheldon. Donald retired from the Milwaukee Fire Department after 20 years of service. He enjoyed collecting model trains, gardening, woodworking and the outdoors. Donald served his country in the United States Army Reserve.
