Donald passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, on March 11, 2023. Donald joins, in heaven, his beloved and adored wife, Lorraine Harling, who preceded him in passing. Donald Harling, Sr. devoted his life to Lorraine and their five children, Colleen (Mario), Gregory, Donald Jr. (Deb), Teri and Susan (Mark). As much as he could, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren Michael (Jamie), Misty (PJ), Amanda (Joseph), Andrew (Sarah), Alan (Alex), Ashley, Jake and Abby (Andrew), his great grandchildren Emily, Michael A., Phillip, Camila, Declan, Grant, Russell, Lennon, Rae Leigh, and Rowan, and his great-great grandson, Julian. He is further survived by nephews, nieces and other family members. Donald is also preceded in death by his sister Joan, and brother Allan.

Donald was a man of few words, though not one member of his family ever had to question the amount of love he had for them. He was proud to have served his country during the Korean War. His favorite hobbies were playing cards, working on puzzles, fishing, and anything having to do with his one and only true love, Lorraine. His main focus was always his family - providing for them and loving them like no other.

Donald was employed by Klement's Sausage for more than 50 years, with the majority of those years being a Production Supervisor, and his final years as a member of the Safety Department. He worked until he was in his 80's, another accomplishment he was very proud of.

We love you Donald, dad, grandpa, papa, pops. You are now back with your one and true love, Lorraine. Your love and devotion to family, and unsurpassed work ethic will never be forgotten, and you will forever be in our hearts. You will be sorely missed.

Memorial Visitation will be held at CHURCH OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION (1023 East Russell Avenue, Milwaukee) on Saturday, April 15th, 2023 from 9:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Donald's life at 11:00 A.M.
