Obituary

Dolores E. Rodziczak "Bubbles", age 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2024. She was born June 6, 1927 in St Francis, WI. Dolores was loved dearly by her late daughter, Barbara Scherer and daughter JoAnn Mastopietro.

She devoted her life to her family and friends. Affectionately nicknamed Bubbles as a child. That name stuck and her family and friends called her by that nickname- Bubbles, Bubs, Aunt Bubs, Grandma Bubbles.

Beloved grandmother of Kim (Robert) Schaaf, the late David Scherer, Amy Rose, James (Sabrina) Scherer, Tony (Debbie Wolkomir) Mastopietro, Jason Scherer, and Joseph (Lindsay) Scherer.

Great-Grandma Bubbles to Samantha Burse, Savannah Scherer, Cynthia Scherer, Olivia Rose, Anna Burse, Ben Schaaf, Aleksandr Rose, Grace Scherer, Addison Mastopietro, Kaylee Schaaf, Jack Scherer, Isobel Scherer, Lucas Scherer, Joseph Scherer, Lilly Scherer, Colin Scherer and Mallory Scherer.

Great-great grandmother of Zariah Scherer.

Dear sister of Thomas and sister-in-law Joyce.

Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Helen Plewa; as well as her siblings and their spouses Edward and Ester, Marie and Ferdinand, Margaret and Stanislaus, Daniel and Beverly, James, Geraldine and Paul, and Carol.

Raised in a large family, Dolores cherished her time with her family more than anything. She was famous for sending cards with $2 bills inside and remembering every birthday, anniversary, and holiday.

Dolores worked for Allen-Bradley until her retirement in 1989. She lived life to the fullest. She will be remembered for her coffee-fueled laughs with her sisters. Dolores loved to bowl, play cards, and was a fierce BINGO competitor. But most of all she loved to craft and crochet. She gifted her blankets not only to family and friends but to those in need. Dolores met everyone with kindness and respect.

She was dedicated to many charities including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The Smile Train, and the Franciscan Mission Service, among others. She lived her life in service to others.

Ephesians 4:32 - "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."
