Obituary

Born to Eternal Life on Sunday, May 5, 2024. Loving husband of Dianne Lazo (nee Cooper). Beloved father of Robert (Jodie) Lazo. Cherished grandfather of Alex and Mark. Dear great-grandfather of Bentley.

Preceded in death by his parents George and Anna Lazo and his great-granddaughter Eaysa Rae.

Dimitri was a history Professor Emeritus from Alverno College where he taught for 33 years. He started the International Studies Program which allowed many Alverno students to go over seas to study as well as many international students to study at Alverno. He liked to say he had hundreds of daughters all around the world.

Visitation at the FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Additional visitation on Friday, May 10, 2024, at St. Cyril and Methodius Orthodox Church,  2505 S. 30th St., Milwaukee WI 53215 from 11am-12pm with a service to follow.
