(nee Balcerek) Found peace on Friday, September 22, 2023, age 83 years. Loving mother of Teresa (Tom) Harmon and John Nunemaker. Proud "GG" of Laura (Aaron) Buffington, Joe (Krystal) Harmon and Lisa (Miguel) Garcia. Dear great-grandma of Tarin, Sawyer, Finn and Macy. Dearest sister of Carol (Dan) Cole and sister-in-law of Susie (the late Michael) Balcerek. Long time friend of Carol Paad, Lisa Corstvet, Elaine Herrick, Carol Hudy, Marie Palczynski and Celine Probst. Further survived by other family and friends.

Diane was proud of her US Navy service, was a Milwaukee Admirals season ticket holder for 50 years, an avid Milwaukee Brewer fan and a loving pet parent to several Maine Coon cats. Diane worked at Kosciuszko Junior High and Williams Steel and Supply Company. She was an avid reader and crossword puzzler.

Committal service and military honors on Friday, October 6, 2023, 2:00 PM at Wood National Cemetery (Meet at cemetery office). A heartfelt thank you to the staff of Compassius Hospice for their care of Diane. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Fisher House Wisconsin-Milwaukee VA are appreciated.
