Diane Alice Klamer

(nee Strehlow) Passed unexpectedly but peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, April 24, 2023, at the age of 75, joining Richard Klamer in Eternal Life. Loving mom of Dena (Patrick) O'Donnell and Darin (Shannon) Klamer. Cherished grandma and oma of Emmett and Brady O'Donnell; Lexee, Destin, and Darin Jr. Klamer. Dear sister of Doris (the late Donald) Komorowski. Adored friend of Pauline (the late Jack) Stollenwerk, Sandy Amiro, and Kathy Pommer. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Diane was a 1965 graduate of Bay View High School. After high school, Diane went on to Beauty School and spent her early working career in Bay View. She then went on to spend the next thirty-plus years faithfully helping the residents at St. Camillus Retirement Community look their best. Her favorite pastimes were being with family and friends. She enjoyed road tripping to see her sister and best friend Doris in the family lake home in St. Germain, cooking meals for family, watching grandkids sporting events and having to make multiple trips to unload the car of gifts for Christmas. She loved spending time with several other best friends. Pauline for sixty-three years, Kathy for over thirty years, and Sandy neighbor and caretaker for the last years. She also had a fondness for going to casinos here in Wisconsin and Las Vegas with Korrine. Diane will forever be remembered for her generous spirit, big heart, and selflessness. She was a wonderful friend, an incredible mother, and an unforgettable grandmother. As much as she loved she never lost her sassy spirit, she surely was a spitfire!

Memorial visitation at the Funeral Home on Monday, May 1, 2023, from 5-7 PM. Memorial Service at 7 PM.
