Dhimitraq eku Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband for 52 years of Floresha. Loving dad of Hektor Tori (Paige) eku and Petraq Peter (Maii) eku. Cherished grandpa Gjyshi of Bennett, Ander, Vance and Reese. Dear brother of Burdhyl (Lumturi) eku. Dhimitraq is preceded in death by his siblings Aleko (Olimbi) eku and Elefteria (Sula) ela and is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. For over 40 years Dhimitraq worked for the Albanian Government as a civil engineer. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching, playing and coaching soccer. In his youth Dhimitraq was the captain of the Albanian National Gymnastics Team. He also enjoyed watching baseball, basketball and playing cards.
