On December 15th, 2022, Denise M Taft, loving wife and mother, passed away at the age of 59. Denise was born in Milwaukee, WI on April 12th, 1963 to Jim Wilson and Antoniette Vrana. She graduated from Bay View High School in 1982.

Denise is survived by her husband, Michael; children, AJ Bautch and his wife Dani, Heather Dillon and her husband Chris; step-children, Shawn Taft and Nancy Fox; Mother, Toni Borman; sister, Annette Zang; grandchildren, Siena, Connor, Anora, and Ainsley; and many more loving family and friends. She devoted decades of her life to the Boys Scouts of America, influencing generations of young men and women across southeastern Wisconsin.

Denise had lungs filled by the fresh air of the Northwoods, a heart made warm by her love for her family. Her wit could cut; and her smile lit every room. Her beautiful hair shined gold when facing a headwind, something that she was never afraid to do. She would often be found around a campfire, and always in the arms of her loving husband. You would have spotted her enjoying Irish Fest; and watching her oldest Granddaughter's ballet slippers skip across a stage. She raised her Son to endeavor, and her Daughter to love. She is taking nothing from the world other than her memories, and leaving only footprints- ones that her Grandchildren will be raised to follow in her honor.
