(nee Rugg) Left us unexpectedly and peacefully on Friday, November 20, 2020, age 60 years. Debra is survived by the love of her life and best friend, Gary Lee Hansen, they were united in marriage on October 14, 2000. Loving daughter of the late Jean L. Rugg and the late Richard C. Rugg. Sister of Patricia (Thomas) Leiting, Michael (Mary) and Thomas (Sandra) Rugg. Special godmother to Thomas and Ryan Host. Dear sister-in-law of Barbara (James) Warlin and niece, Colleen Warlin. She is also survived by her friends, Doug and Kathy Kuhagen; Tom and Karen Nightingale and all the Olbrot Family with whom she had many years of friendship. A special thank you to her dear friend, Mary Kay Jiricka, for her many years of friendship and compassionate care she provided to Deb during her illness. She will be missed by her loving companion, Belle. Deb attended St Mary's Grade School and graduated in 1978 from St. Joseph High School in Kenosha, She then attended Marian University and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1982 and earned a Masters of Science in Health Services Administration in 1987 from Cardinal Stritch University. Deb has spent over 35 years employed at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. She always wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps in nursing. She was the Patient Care Manager of the Coronary Intensive Care Unit for 18 years and has been the Director of Inpatient Nursing since 2013. She was an avid Packer and Brewer fan and enjoyed attending games with Gary, enjoyed traveling and the annual trip to Disney World in Florida. Memorial Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday, November 27, 2020, 4:00-7:-00 PM. prayer service at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, 10:00 AM at St. Matthias Parish, 9303 W. Beloit Rd.
