David B. Rosing (68) passed away peacefully, surrounded by the people he loved on December 6th, 2023. David was born on April 1st, 1955 in Lake Forest, Illinois.

David is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Cindy Rosing (nee Cherone); his son, Steven (Jill) Rosing; his three favorite granddaughters, Pearl, Hazel, and Millie; his mother, Nancy Rosing (nee Vonic); his sister, Betsy (Kurt) Eynatten; his niece, Amanda (Billy) Procknow; his nephew, Sam Eynatten; and his great-niece, Faye Procknow.

David is preceded in death by his free-spirited daughter, Ashley; his father, Robert "R.V." Rosing; his brother, Daniel; his parents-in-law, Joan and Victor Cherone.

David was an avid collector of models, stamps and trains. He had a very special relationship with his granddaughters whom he loved all equally. He was the type of person that would give the shirt off of his back for anyone, he would do anything for any person. He was very open, it didn't matter if you knew him for five minutes, he would make you feel like a life-long friend. David was simply the best.

Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Memorial Visitation will be on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. Memorial Service at 12:00 P.M.
