Rinard, David Age, 58, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, at his home May 9. He is greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Helen Rinard; his sisters, Amy Rinard(Russ Maki) and Patrice Kretlow(Stephan), an aunt and uncle; cousins; and many friends and neighbors. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Rinard; grandparents, Claude and Mary Rinard and Charles and Sophie Schroedl.
Dave was a 1973 graduate of Hamilton High School where he was on the swim team and worked summers as a lifeguard at Bradford Beach. He worked at a variety of jobs, including dog trainer, was a skilled carpenter and for a time had his own business making dartboards. With his beloved German shepherd, Max, Dave was a member of the local War Dogs group, walking in area parades and appearing at many educational events. Dave and Max also regularly visited veterans at the VA Hospital. Dave was active in his neighborhood association, always willing to help a neighbor, and was a proud Green Bay Packers shareholder.
A memorial celebration of Dave's life will be held Friday May 16, 2014 at the Funeral Home from 5-7PM. Memorials to War Dogs are appreciated. Give a dog an extra treat today in memory of Dave.
