David "Dave" J. Kuspa
Born to eternal life on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband and best friend for 68 years of the late Joan (nee Nowakowski). Cherished dad of Michael (Linda) Kuspa, Mark (Mary) Kuspa, Robert (the late Pamela) Kuspa and John Kuspa. Loving grandfather of Gregory Kuspa and Steven (Jennifer) Kuspa; Dalton (Bin) Kuspa and Jaclyn (Clayton) McCabe; Sydney (Shawn) Smith and Emily (Jacob) Jewell; Hayden Kuspa and Sophia Kuspa. Treasured great-grandfather of Madelyn and Scarlett; Brooklyn and Chloe; Marin and Myles; Benjamin and Bo; Nora, Claire, and Grace. Further survived by other family and friends.
Dave graduated from South Division High School in Milwaukee, and shortly after joined the US Air Force followed by the US Air Force Reserves 440th Airlift Wing stationed in Milwaukee, proudly serving his country. He married his high school sweetheart, Joan, in 1956 and they began their family together. Throughout Dave's life, he worked various jobs, most notably, in Medical Sales until his retirement. He was very active in St. Barbara's Parish and helped with the various organizations within the parish community. Dave was extremely involved in the West Allis Speed Skating Club for numerous years. He always supported his four sons in their sporting endeavors throughout the years. Dave developed many relationships with his wife, Joan, most recently at Innovative Health and Fitness in Franklin and within the Waters of Oak Creek retirement community.
A special thank you to nurses, Mandi and Taylor from St. Croix Hospice and Nicole and the support staff at the Waters of Oak Creek who all showed exceptional care for Dave and became extended members of the family.
Visitation at St. James Catholic Church 7219 S 27th St, Franklin, WI 53132 on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11:00 AM. Private Inurnment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
