Born to Eternal Life Friday, October 8, 2021 at the age of 71. Loving husband of Linda (nee Haybeck). Beloved father of Timothy Johnson and Angela Haybeck. He will be missed by "my puppy" Mia. Also survived by brothers (in law), sister (in laws), nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. David worked for Elwood Corp. for 37 years and proudly served in the US Navy. He was a devoted member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Oak Creek. David was a caring. kind, compassionate and patient man. He always made time for his family and friends. He enjoyed taking family vacations, especially going to Disney World and spending time in Florida in the winter with his family and in laws. David had a passion for flying Cessna planes recreationally. He enjoyed working with electronics, especially computers. He volunteered at St. Matthew, taking care of the computer lab for the staff and students. He loved us all and was loved in return. He will forever remain in our hearts. Memorial Gathering Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Matthew Parish, 9303 South Chicago Road, Oak Creek. Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Inurnment to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in David's name to Parkinson's Foundation, St. Matthew Catholic Church in Oak Creek, WI or the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
