David (Dave) Richard Hesiak of Berlin, WI was born into eternal life in the early hours of May 24, 2022 after a valiant battle with a brief but severe illness. Dave was born in Cudahy, WI on July 8, 1965 as the fourth child of Robert and Lamay (Mang) Hesiak. Dave was a lover of the simple things in life and enjoyed fishing, camping, cold Pepsi, and building complex model cars and Lego masterpieces. Most of all, though, Dave loved his family. As one niece remembers, "Uncle Dave was always the first to arrive at family functions... with a Pepsi in hand." Dave has been reunited with his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, sister-in-law, niece, and other loved ones. He leaves behind his siblings Cheryl (Bill) Walters, Ann (Bob) Eckert, Bill (the late Gail) Hesiak, and Tim (Shelley) Hesiak. Dave is further survived by his aunt Julie (Skip) Webb, cousin Gary (Joanne) Webb, cousin Bob (Julene Flanagan) Piechocki and dear friends, Scott and Carol. Uncle Dave will be greatly missed by his 11 nieces and nephews, their spouses/partners, and his 22 great nieces and nephews. Dave's family would like to thank the staff at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's ICU for their kind and diligent care over these past few weeks.
