David A. Christensen 

Age 76, passed away peacefully at his home away from home in Escanaba, Michigan, on August 12, 2026.David was born on December 29, 1949, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Jack and Doris (Dagenais) Christensen. He was a proud member of the United States Army National Guard. He graduated from Milwaukee Trade and Technical School and went on to become a master plumber. He worked for Ideal Plumbing in Milwaukee and was a proud member of Plumbers Local 75 throughout his career.David loved spending time at his second home in Michigan, where he took great pride in his home and loved feeding the deer at camp. He enjoyed hunting, including bird and deer hunting, as well as shooting trap. David also had a talent for woodworking and could often be found putzing around, working on projects, or making birdhouses. He loved dining at the K Ranch and Lala Place. Above all, his children and grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he cherished the time he spent with them.David is survived by his wife, Kathie Christensen; his son, Scott (Lindsay) Christensen; his daughters, Shelly (Richard) Kuehl and Melissa (Shawn) Lewis; his grandchildren, Noelle Christensen, Rylee (Taylor) Kuehl, and Elizabeth Lewis; his brother, Tom (Sue) Christensen; his sister, Nancy (Jim) Small; his brother-in-law, Tony Pitifer; his sister-in-law, Sandy Nimmer; several nieces and nephews, and his former wife and friend, Barbara (Jamie) Koss.David was preceded in death by his parents; his eldest brother, Mark Christensen; his father-in-law, Raymond Nimmer; his mothers-in-law, Mary Lou Nimmer and Esther Zenecke; his brother-in-law, James Nimmer; and his sister-in-law, Carol (Richard) Badzinski.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 28 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the Prasser - Kleczka Funeral Home, 3275 S. Howell Avenue Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53207. Memorial services will follow at 12:00 P.M., followed by a luncheon for family and friends.
