Friday, September 8, 2017. Age 85 years. Beloved husband of 50 years of Mary E. Mary Beth Blackwood. Loving dad of James (Allison). Cherished granddaughter Natalie and Jillian Blackwood. Dear brother of James (Ruth Ann) and the late Robert (Carolyn). Further survived by other family members and friends. David was a graduate of Bay View High School and graduated from the Marquette School of Dentistry in 1960. He practiced dentistry in Mukwonago for 34 years. David was a lifelong sailor successfully navigated the Great Lakes and was a life long member of the South Shore Yacht Club. At his request no services will be held.
