Darren Michael McCormick Friday, November 15, 2019, age 47 years. Darren is survived by his daughters Audrey (mother Jill) and Ciara (mother Melanie). He is the much loved brother of Tim (Hayley), Bob (Molly) and Colleen (Scott Baldwin), Randy (Ritchie) and Mark (Kay). Uncle of Burren and Bennett; Nora and Luke; Jay, Steve and Mike. Preceded in death by his parents Dennis and Mary McCormick and his baby sister Eileen. Also survived by a very large and loving family and life long friends. Darren graduated from Immaculate Conception Parish School, Milwaukee Trade & Technical High School, and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a BA in Communications and Psychology, as well as an MS in Community Psychology. He was ABD in Counseling Psychology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Darren developed expertise in user experience design, which became the foundation of a successful career in the technology industry. He worked for a variety of companies including Sprint, PeopleSoft, and Microsoft. Darren enjoyed playing sports, especially soccer and tennis. He loved music, spending time with his many friends, traveling, and riding his Harley-Davidson Softail. Most of all, he loved his large, extended family, and he was happiest when attending Irish Fest. Darren had a gift for storytelling and for bringing people together. He had a strong work ethic, a sharp intellect, a love of adventure, and unyielding passion. He may not always have had the capacity to show it, but he deeply loved his family and friends. He will be remembered for his quick smile and his love for his family and friends. Memorial visitation at the Funeral Home Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 11-1 PM. Memorial Service at 1 PM.
