Darlene M. Brzezinski

(nee Schahczinski) Passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 4, 2025, aged 74 years. Beloved wife of Curtis Brzezinski for 25 years. Loving mother of Julie Swirkowski, Thomas (Rachel) Swirkowski, Cheryl Swirkowski, and Kimberly. Step-mother of the late Clinton and Noel Brzezinski. Cherished grandmother of Andrew (Michelle) Wipijewski, Christopher (Michelle) Wipijewski, Dylan Swirkowski, David (Shyanne) Smith, Devonte (Mya) Smith, Demarcus Smith, Dominic Smith, Brandon Faltersack, Jeremiah Faltersack, Adaeze Swirkowski, Anthony, Ashley, Brittany, Christina, Samantha, Kasie, and Raymond Brzezinski, and Jaime Whiting. Dear great-grandmother of Christopher Jr., David IV, Demari, Stella, Levi, and Hudson. Adored sister of Dale (Jan) Schahczinski and Diane (Rick) O'Neill. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

Darlene enjoyed many hobbies such as gardening, playing computer games, completing crossword puzzles, watching Packer football games and Bucks basketball games. She loved to watch Dancing with the Stars and other reality TV shows. Darlene loved to be a fan in the stands for all of her grandchildren's athletic games and races. She always put a smile on her grandchildrens and great grandchildrens faces by making them candy arrangements. She was known as "Candy Grandma" to them.

The family would like to thank all of the Doctors and Nurses for taking special care of Darlene in her final days at Accent Care Hospice at Lutheran Home, specifically David, Lori, Laurie, Jackie, Sierra, Ashley, and Ann.

Visitation on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at St. Charles Borromeo Parish 3100 W. Parnell Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53221 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment at a later date will take place at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
