Darlene Bridgewater, age 83, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025. Born on April 20, 1942, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Darlene lived a life rooted in love, family and faith.

Darlene was the heart of her family - the emotional center who brought everyone together with warmth and unwavering support. Her presence was a constant source of comfort and strength to those around her. She was deeply devoted to her loved ones and took immense joy in spending time with them. Whether gathered around the table for a card game with friends or surrounded by her family, Darlene's laughter and love filled every room she entered.

She was a cherished mother to Kelly Bridgewater (Dan) and Brian Bridgewater. Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren: Jonathon Bridgewater (Alexandra), Devin Metz (Kaytlyn) and Alexandra Metz; and through her great-grandchildren: Jayden, Amaya, Zakiya, Illiana, Oliver, Levi and Reese. Each of them carries forward the love and values she instilled.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Bridgewater; her brothers, Louie Stovich and Danny Stovich and her sister Maryann Stovich. Their memories remained close to her heart.

Those who knew Darlene will remember her as the best mother and grandmother anyone could ask for - always there for you no matter what. Her kindness, loyalty and boundless love left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
