Cherished father of the late Michael, Patrick (Gail), Mary, Ann, Aimee (Mark) Plautz. Dear father-in-law of Edward K. and Carol Z. Loving grandfather of Daniel (Cristin), Sandra (Michael), Pablo, Gregory, Allyson, Andrew. Dear great-grandfather of Matthew, Samantha, Payton, Noah and Myah. Also survived by other family and friends. Visitation SUN., November 23, 2008 from 3-7 PM. Prayer vigil at 7 PM. Visitation also MON. 9-10 AM at ST. CHARLES BORROMEO CHURCH, 3100 W. Parnell Ave. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Daniel was a retired U.S. Navy Veteran, proudly serving his country in World War II. He was a past-president of the Veterans Board of Directors for the War Memorial, a member of the Allied Veterans Council, The Fleet Reserve Association and Navy RAO. He was also a volunteer at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Hospital. Daniel was a charter member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, where he served on many ministries through the years.
