Age 90, of Franklin found peace on Saturday, December 31, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Joyce who passed away in 2006 after sharing 55 years of marriage with Daniel. Survived by his children; Tom (Janis), Mark (Loryn), Terry (Kathi), Todd (Julie), Kim (Simon) Corben, and Myles. Also survived by his grandchildren Christopher, Debra (Adam) Geiger, Eryn (Thomas) Sawyer, Colin, Jeffrey, Kelly, and Sara and Alex Corben. Daniel is preceded in death by his grandson Jason Wilde and is survived by 7 great-grandchildren, extended family members in Marathon County and many dear friends. Daniel was a retiree of Greyhound Bus Lines after 36 years of service. He was proud to serve as a union leader for ATU Local #1150. After his retirement Daniel drove several years for Wisconsin Coach Lines. Daniel's ability to overcome physical setbacks has been an inspiration to his family. His family would like to thank his caregivers and friends at Brenwood Park in Franklin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic at St. Luke's Medical Center in remembrance of Daniel's beloved wife Joyce.
