Born October 24, 1949. Left us unexpectedly Thursday, June 21, 2012. Age 62 years. This generous and kind-hearted man gave all of his heart over the years to those he loved. Preceded in death by parents Richard Walz and Myrt Sohns. Dear father of Jason (Jessi) Walz. Loving grandpa of Myles and Chloe. Dear brother of Debby (Michael) Brzinski. Former husband of Cynthia Curro-Walz. Brother in heart to Rick Curro and Joseph Zanotti. Further survived by other family and numerous friends. Dan was a retiree of the City of Milwaukee DPW and a partner of C&W Towing Co. Dan loved to see people smile and was good at making it so, whether on the road with his biker pals, on a lake attempting to catch fish, hanging out pool-side with his grandchildren, or entertaining at his local watering hole. He loved the company of others and we all loved being in his company. His foolishness, pranks, and antics will be ingrained in all of us until we are someday reunited and we can start the party again. A visitation will be held Thursday, June 28, 4PM - 7PM at the Funeral Home. A celebration of Dan's life will take place at 7PM.
