Daniel L. Staral

Born to Eternal Life on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Age 89 years. Loving father of Ronald (Jodi) Staral, Gerald (Debra) Staral, Jean (Mark) Stawicki and Joseph Staral (Pamela McEvoy). Beloved grandpa of Victoria (Kyle) Puzia, Sean Staral and Shannon Staral (Fiancé Cory DeKeyser); Christopher Staral and Tiffany Staral; Kristin (August Anderson) Stawicki, Erin Stawicki and Jonathan Stawicki; Paige Lindow. Dear great-grandfather of Meera and Raeya Puzia. Dear brother of Alvin (Martha) Staral and Dennis (Janice) Staral. Dan is preceded in death by his longtime companion Darlene Nelson. He is further survived by other family members and friends.

Visitation Friday, October 6, 2023 from 9 - 10:30 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 7219 S. 27th St. Franklin. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Forest Home Cemetery.

Dan was born in Milwaukee. He was a 1953 graduate of North Division High School. He attended and graduated with his Bachelors Degree in Business from Spencerian College in Milwaukee. He retired after a long career in sales at Four Seasons Coffee Service Inc. After retirement Dan moved to the Minocqua area where he was actively involved with Holy Family Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Fr. Dodge Council #7827 in Woodruff. Throughout his life Dan enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends and family. He loved nature and enjoyed wildlife, especially in his backyard. Dan will be remembered by his family for his work ethic, willingness to volunteer, dedication to his family and preparing a fish fry for those he loved.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dan's name may be made to the Knights of Columbus Fr. Dodge Council #7827 in Woodruff.
