Was Born To Eternal Life on January 15, 2008. Age 88 years. Beloved husband for 61 years of Marcella (nee Pieterick). Loving father of Daniel G., Charles (Kathleen) and Claudia Virsnieks (Fiancé Robert Granzow) and the late Joanna Rehorst. Cherished grandfather of Armand Virsnieks. Dear step-grandfather of Carey (Ted) Ferenz, Kara (Steve) Marchewka. Dear brother of Bernice (the late Robert) Mergener, Thomas (the late Lucille) and James A. (Carol) Rehorst. Preceded death by his siblings; Mildred, Gerald (Mary Jane) Rehorst and Ruth (the late Stanley) Polczynski. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Dr. Daniel Rehorst was a 1944 graduate of the Marquette University School of Dentistry and had a practice in Bay View. He proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S Navy, a past commander of Bay View Post #2879 VFW and a member of George Washington – Bay View Post #180 American Legion.
