Paulish, Daniel W. Passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012 surrounded by his family. Daniel was born August 15, 1923 in West Allis, WI. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Gale. He was the proud and loving father of 4 children, Bruce (Linda) Paulish, Robert (Denise) Aldrete, Lisa (Timothy) Szulczewski, and Debra (Curtis) Bell. One of the greatest joys in his life was spending time with his 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Daniel was a World War II veteran, serving in the Army from January 1943 until December 1945. During that time he served as a Fire Direction Operator in the 391st Engineer Battalion in Normandy, Northern France and Rhineland, earning 4 bronze battle stars.
He was a long time employee of Kolmar Lab and later went on to be the Director of Facilities and Engineering at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin until his retirement in 1993.
Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday, January 13, 2012, 4:00-7:00. Funeral Service at 7:00 PM. Private interment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
