Found everlasting peace on December 11, 2012. Age 88. Preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Mary (nee Synowicz), parents Stanley and Pauline (nee Kempka), siblings Jerome George (Janet), Sylvester Peter (Viola), Eleanor (Peter) Dejanowicz and Florence Kopke. He is survived by his children William (Diane), Gloria (Chris), granddaughters Carrie and Shellee (Jason), great-grandchildren Jayden and Kaylee, sister Esther (Gene)Welter, and many other nieces and nephews.
Daniel greatly enjoyed tinkering, fishing and giving orders to others. Quite the jokester and labor activist, he began his truck driving career at Express Freightliners in the 40's. He moved onto driving and then management in 1968 at the Schwerman Trucking Company, the largest U.S. cement hauler, based in Milwaukee. His love of driving flows throughout his family.
Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8PM. Private interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials desired to St. Jude's Children's Hospital(StJude.org) appreciated. The family would like to thank the fine staff at Lake Terrace Healthcare Center.
