Born 11-27-1940 in Strasburg, ND to Regina (nee Schwab) and Anton Baumgartner. Passed away on 1-18-2022. Husband and best friend of Barbara (nee Kolenski). Beloved father to 3 loving daughters; Cynthia, Michelle, and Patty (Ernie Timm). Loving grandpa to Dylan Lutchen, Austin Lutchen, Nathan Timm, and Daniel Timm. Brother of Ernie Baumgartner, the late Leroy (Antonia) Baumgartner, and MaryAnne Peebles. Also loved by other family members and friends. Dan loved his summers in Pioneer Park, Lake Delton, WI where he was a craftsman of high-end bird houses. At home he was a very handy guy, a "Mr. Fix-it" to all the neighbors. He enjoyed spending his time with his grandchildren and family. He will be dearly missed by all. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
