Cynthia A. Washkuhn, a devoted homemaker, passed away on June 4, 2024, at the age of 73. Born in Milwaukee, WI on March 13, 1951, Cynthia lived a life filled with love and dedication to her family.
She leaves behind her loving husband, James R. Washkuhn; her beloved daughter, Jessica (Tommy) Endres; her step-children Jim Washkuhn, Jason Washkuhn, and Jennifer Scott; her grandchildren, Audrey Alice Endres, Elizabeth Washkuhn, Jimi Washkuhn, Cameron Washkuhn, Trey Washkuhn, Riley Washkuhn, Brianna Scott, Hayden Scott, Olivia Scott, and Hannah Washkuhn; her beloved dog, Trixie.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Zawacki and Josephine Zawacki; and her sister Christine Cripps.
Cynthia's smile, warmth, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy as a kind and caring wife, mother, and daughter will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to be a part of her life. Despite her role as a homemaker, Cynthia's impact on her family and community was immeasurable.
Throughout her life, Cynthia found joy in the simple pleasures - she collected jewelry, shoes, and purses. She was always dressed well in her own glamorous way. She reveled in the experience of music and attending concerts, in particular Woodstock 1969, with a special fondness for the music of Cher. Holidays were particularly special to her, wherein she delighted in decorating, spending quality time with family and friends, and particularly adoring the festive spirit of Christmas. In her spare moments, she relished watching the Real Housewives series with a glass of wine, finding comfort in these little indulgences.
Educated at Pulaski High School, Cynthia held a deep reverence for her Polish heritage, proudly upholding and celebrating her roots. Her appreciation for life's moments, both big and small, and her genuine affection for those around her, left an enduring impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
As we mourn the loss of Cynthia, we remember her kindness, her gentle spirit, and the countless memories she created with her loved ones. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
