Cynthia L. "Cindy" Gilmore
Found peace and was reunited with her beautiful daughter, Amanda Nicole and her beloved mother, JoAnn (nee Peters) on Friday, July 24, 2026, age 55 years. She is survived by her treasured sons, Jared and Evan Windschanz; her caring father, James B. Gilmore; her devoted sister Laurie (Ernie) Tanel and loving brothers, Steve (Mary) and Jim (Shannon) Gilmore. Dear aunt of Father Kevin Tanel and Andy Tanel. Cherished goddaughter of Jackie (Ludwig) Hairapetian. Also survived by her former husband, Eric Windschanz. her niece, Megan (Aaron) Antczak, her nephew, Zachary (former-Tonya) Windschanz and great-nephews, Jayden Rodriguez and Tucker Windschanz. Further survived by other loving family members and friends.
Cindy was a proud graduate of Marquette University earning her BSN in Nursing and worked for many years at both Aurora Healthcare and Froedtert Healthcare. She loved spending time with her children, her extended family and celebrating her Irish heritage. She especially loved watching trains and storms with Jared and airplanes with Evan to experience their passions with them. Cindy's family would like to thank the Froedtert Breast Cancer Care Center and Brighton Hospice for their care.
Visitation at Prasser-Kleczka Funeral Home, 3275 S. Howell Ave. on Thursday, July 30, 2026, 4:00-7:00 PM, prayer service at 7 PM. Additional visitation on Friday, July 31, 2026, 10-10:45 AM at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1441 W. Oakwood Rd., Oak Creek, Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, Interment to follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Life's Connection-Mukwonago or to Cindy's family are appreciated.
