IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cynthia "Cyndie" Jean
Debattista
October 28, 1950 – August 26, 2025
Cynthia "Cyndie" DeBattista
(nee Hubert) Born to Eternal Life on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, age 74 years. Beloved wife of 42 years to the late Gregory DeBattista. Loving mother of Tom (Lori) Knight, Tim (Kayla) Knight, Troy (Cindy) Knight, and Diana (Ray) Buman. Cherished grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Further survived by a brother, two sisters, many nieces, nephews, cousins and others. She is preceded in death by her two sons, David and Christopher DeBattista, her grandson Tristan Angel, and her parents Walter and Rosemary Lawien.
Cyndie was a bus driver for Goodwill Industries for 20 years and she cherished her students that rode as passengers. She was a country music lover, with a particular enjoyment for Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire to name a few. Cyndie and her husband Greg traveled a lot over the years with "Dollywood" in Tennessee being one of their frequent destinations. For Cyndie, riding on the back of Greg's motorcycle was her happy place. Seagram's "Jamaican Me Happy" wine coolers always made her happy at the end of each day. She enjoyed knitting blankets for her newborn grandchildren and family was always at the center of her life.
All are welcome to Graveside Services at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery 21731 Spring St, Union Grove, WI 53182 on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 10:00 AM. If desired, charitable donations in Cyndie's honor can be made to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
