Died peacefully on Thursday, September 22, 2011, age 90 years. Beloved husband for 68 years of Margaret (nee Martino). Loving father of Cruz Jr.(Lucia), Michele (Michael) LaSelva and Jim (Lori) Carrillo. Dear grandfather of Christine, Dante, Jennifer (Dave), Elizabeth and Mario. Great-grandfather of Benjamin, Jack and Guiseppi. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Cruz was a retiree of Milwaukee County and a U.S. Coast Guard veteran serving during World War II. He enjoyed playing golf and both playing and watching baseball. A thank you to the staff of the Lead Unit at Franciscan Villa for their special care. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Veronica Church or to the Alzheimer's Association are appreciated.
