Stanley, Craig R. Was Born To Eternal Life on Thursday, July 3, 2014 age 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Katherine E. Stanley. Loving father of Mark (Kathy) Stanley, Sally Grooms, Terry (Maureen), Richard (Rebecca), Monica (Gale) Bergman, Marlene (Doug) Forbush, Edward, and Kurt (Renee) Stanley. Dear brother of Fr. Edward Safiejko, Helen Grzyczkowski, Jenni Hudson, Mary Sams, the late Fr. Joseph Safiejko and the late John Safiejko. Further survived by 12 grandchildren, 1, great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation SATURDAY, July 12, 2014 from 9-11 AM at ST. CHARLES BORROMEO CHURCH, 3100 So. Parnell Ave. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Entombment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery. Craig proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII afterwards he served for 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a longtime active member of St. Charles Borromeo serving as an usher, lector, St. Vincent de Paul Society and Seniors group.
