Doss, Colleen Rose (nee McGeary) Monday, April 27, 2009, age 59 years. Cherished best friend and beloved wife of Dick Doss for 27 beautiful and wonderful years went home to be with our Father. Loving, caring, proud mother, and best friend to her children: Denise (David), Sandy (Paul), Mark (Laura), James (Angie), and Matthew (Abby). Cherished sister of: Patrick (Karel), Michael (Tina), Darlene (Thomas), Kenneth (Kathleen), Gary (Connie).Loving and proud nana of: Rob (Becca), Sean, Samantha, Brandon, Jeffrey, Joseph (U.S Army serving in Iraq), Jason & Jacob (U.S. Marines serving in Afghanistan), Jeremy, Michael, Brianna, Jackie, Christina, Alexandra, Jake, Kyle, Hannah, and Mackenzie. She was also the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews, and was the God-Mother to Carrie. Colleen was preceded in death by her loving parents E. J. McGeary, and Leona Kaufman, and her sister Gloria (Jerry) Gdaniec. Colleen was a special and loving friend to many people. Colleen spent her entire life caring for people. Not only was her profession that of a caregiver but she also cared for, and about everyone blessed enough to enter her life. Through her "crazy caring", singing, dancing, joking, and just plain loving, Colleen touched many lives. A loving and special thank you to Sarah, Laura and Karel for all of your help. Special thanks also, to the caring staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center and everyone who visited and spent time there with Colleen. Mom, we all love you more than words could ever express. You will be deeply missed by all of us. But like you told us, we will all be together again one day in heaven and you will be waiting for us with open arms along side of our Lord. Visitation at the Funeral Home Friday, May 1, 4-8 PM. Funeral Service on Saturday, May 2 at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park.
