Obituary

128th Air Refueling Wing, Wisconsin Air National Guard "Tomcat" Thursday, March 25, 2004 age 82 years. Beloved husband for 61 years of Maxine (nee Davicino). Dearest and loving father of Joan (Steven) Woida and Thomas F. (Marge) Bailey, Jr. Proud grandfather of Todd and Scott Woida and Timothy R. and Thomas F. Bailey III, Brother of Brook Raynes of Nitro, WV. Brother-in-law of Mary Frances Bailey. Preceded in death by his parents, Frances Raynes and Dan Bailey and brothers, Forest Raynes and Jack Bailey. Also survived by other family and many friends. There will be a time for visiting and sharing memories on WED. at the Funeral Home from 3 to 6 PM followed by a MEMORIAL SERVICE and MILITARY HONORS at 6 PM. Colonel Bailey began his military career in the Army-Air Corps in World War II and flew 91 missions over Europe, served during the Korean War in the Air Force until 1953. He then joined the Wisconsin Air National Guard's 128th Fighter Group and retired in 1979 as Base Commander.
