Clifford was a retiree of WTMJ after 46 years of service, a U.S. army veteran serving during the Korean War and was awarded the Bronze Star. Cliff was a member of Greendale Post #416, American Legion. He also was a member of Moose Lodge No. 49, the Knights of Columbus Pere Marquette Council No. 524 and the Bishop Henni Assembly-4th degree Knights of Columbus and was active with the Boy Scouts of America.
