Obituary

Timm, Christine A. (nee Zielinski) Born to Eternal Life on March 23rd, 2023, age 77. We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our loving Mom/Grandma/Sister/Friend. Beloved Mother of Dawn Timm Hasbani (André) and Lynn Sarver. Devoted Grandma to Matthew Sarver (MacKenzie) and Liliana Hasbani. Honorary Grandma to Jennifer Gibbs (Joe), Stephanie Klass and Wyatt Klass. Dedicated Sister to Jacqueline Esslinger (Richard), Gayle Miller (Gerald), Cheryl Klass (Phillip) and predeceased by Patricia Wolf (John) and Elmer Zielinski (Berlie). Loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews and their families.

Chris was born in Milwaukee, WI when her father Elmer Zielinski was finishing active duty in the South Pacific. Chris accompanied her mother Regina Zielinski (nee Rewolinski) to her various jobs of which they traveled on foot or via city bus. When her father was running the yard at Harris Lumber, Chris's family moved to the house they built in Greenfield, WI and attended Our Lady of Lourdes church. Chris often shared warm memories of her Polish upbringing, being a scusa jumping on the bed in the shared bedroom and how her mother would put the children to work weeding the garden and recycling newspapers.

As she was pursuing a degree in Chemistry, she switched to her love of numbers. She instinctively counted steps everywhere she went, such as how many steps from the car door to the house. Also she could do math calculations in her head. This special talent led her to full time employment at Prime Financial Credit Union (formerly Milwaukee Municipal Credit Union). She built a remarkable career focusing on excellent customer service and a strong team environment in a financial setting. She worked her way up to the role of President and was well respected as a leader in customer service.

Chris raised two daughters in the Town of Brookfield. She enjoyed spending time with her family on lake outings, camping trips, theater, traveling, Polish Fest, Chinese lunch dates and Sister's Day. She and her sister created Ugly Sweater Christmas well before it was popular. She traveled to the Macy's Day Parade in NYC to the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco to the sandy beaches of North Carolina and many cities in between. Her "once in a lifetime" trip to Hong Kong, China and Japan for her 65th birthday was the perfect way to celebrate her passion for Asian and Japanese Culture and shrimp with lobster sauce! Her favorite things included her grandchildren, watching a ski competition or working on a puzzle brought her great joy, creating family recipe books, helping people and playing candy crush. She was a believer that everything happens for a reason, her Guardian Angel watched over her (especially when merging on the highway!) and God will show you the way.

Chris was a Breast Cancer Survivor, MMCU Board Member, member of Woman to Woman, volunteer for VITAS and a member of The Red Hat Society. She donated her time and money to various local charities.

We miss her beautiful smile and generous heart! You left us too soon!
