Christine "Chris" Hanson

(nee Kowaleski) Found eternal peace on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the age of 58 years. Beloved wife of 31 years to Scott Hanson. Loving daughter of Kathleen Case (nee O'Brien) and the late Thomas Kowaleski. Adored sister of Cheryl (Patrick) Bishop (nee Kowaleski). Cherished aunt of Hector Trevino, and Sean and Danielle Gosline. Loved daughter-in-law of Beverly and the late Ralph Hanson. Loved sister-in-law of D'Ann (Bob) Gosline. She is preceded in death by her dear brother, SSG David Kowaleski.


Chris loved her family above all and made sure to spend a lot of time with family. She loved animals and her pets, or what she referred to as her "fur babies". She enjoyed making many small art projects from bedazzling different trinkets to coloring pictures. Chris shared her joy for creating art by giving away the different crafts that she made to family and friends. She was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers, often sharing her knowledge on the players with others. Chris enjoyed watching the wild life come through her back yard that would feed on the seeds and nuts that her and Scott provided for them. She was easy to talk to and she would spark up a conversation with just about anyone whether she knew them or not.


Memorial Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Memorial Service to begin at 7:00 PM. If desired, memorial donations in Christine's name can be made to the Humane Society of Wisconsin.
