Rasmussen, Jean (Christina) (nee Collins) Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Age 85 years. Beloved wife for 62 years of the late Gordon. Loving mother of Lisa (Greg) Piontek, Christine (Keith) Wichman and David (Sheri) Rasmussen. Treasured grandmother of Jacob Piontek (Sara Ford), Eric (Tara) Wichman and Andrew (Kristi) Wichman. Dear great-grandmother of Emery, Jack, Owen and Wesley. Further survived by her cherished nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Born in England, Jean at the age of 18 immigrated with her family to the United States aboard the Queen Elizabeth. She moved to Racine where she met her husband Gordon. Throughout her life she enjoyed gardening, embroidery, knitting and sewing. She was a longtime member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Milwaukee and was a Sunday School Teacher for over 40 years. She will be forever remembered by her family for being the most loving mom and grandmother and her selfless nature. The family would like to thank the caregivers and staffs of Brenwood Park in Franklin and Heartland Hospice for their tender care and support.
