Cherri Lee Wagner (née Martin), age 66, entered her heavenly home and found eternal peace in the arms of her Savior, on November 25, 2020. Cherri is survived by her husband, Reverend David Wagner of Milwaukee, her sons James Shay (Jenny), Jesse Shay (Jaime), her sister Debbie Martin-Blachiowak, all of Milwaukee, and her brother David Martin (Elizabeth) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Cherri is also survived by long awaited, cherished grandchildren Ellie, Ellysa, Ashton, Ivy, and Oaklee; also nieces and nephews and countless friends. Cherri was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Shay, and her mother and stepfather, Carol and Robert Jacob. As a home health caregiver, Cherri brought comfort, companionship, and a cheerful spirit to the many patients she tended to over many years. Her compassion, bright smile, and genuine love for Jesus was a gift she graciously shared with all. Cherri was a friend to all who knew her, and all who knew her, loved her. Visitation Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 10AM to 12PM at Oak Creek Assembly of God 7311 S. 13th St. Funeral Service to follow at 12PM. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. A pot blessing dinner will be served at Oak Creek Assembly following the burial for friends and family who have come to honor Cherri. In lieu of flowers, gifts and donations may be addressed to family.
