(Nee Jennings) Saturday, September 21, 2013, age 95 years. Loving wife and widow of the late Raymond W. Bethke. Loving wife of Wendell Sprong. Mother of William (Judy), Robert (Susan), Bruce (Karen), and the late Julie Bethke. Step-mother of Susan (John) Fritsche. Grandma of Shannon, Andrew, the late Scott, Timothy, Charlotte, Adrienne, Brittany, the late Emily, Daniel, Veronica, Frances and Samuel. She is further survived by many great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Charlotte taught at Trowbridge Street Elementary School for many years and was a retiree of the Milwaukee Teachers' Education Association. She also was a lifelong member of the Bay View United Methodist Church, member of the South Shore Yacht Club Ladies Auxiliary, and a member of the Bay View Historical Society. A memorial gathering for Charlotte will take place at a later date. If desired, memorials to Bay View United Methodist Church are appreciated.
