Found peace on Friday, June 24th, 2016 at home with his family. Age 90 years. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Ruth (nee Pollak) and daughter Diane Rutkowski (David R). He is further survived by many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Dick and Susie and the family "Rose Crew" Marcia, John, Dave, David, Tom, and Johnny. Preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Anthony (Marge), Eugene (Joyce), Joseph (Belma), Edward, Elenore (Bob), Daniel(Clare), Alice, Walter.
Visitation at the Funeral Home THURSDAY, June 30, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 PM. Prayer Vigil at 7:00 PM. Visitation also Friday at ST. AUGUSTINE OF HIPPO CHURCH 2530 S. Howell Ave. Milwaukee from 10:00-11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment and Military Honors to follow Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Chuck was a WWII veteran who served in the Pacific. He also worked at Fred Usinger's Sausage for 36 years. He and his wife Ruth were active members of the Greater Milw, Rose Society. They grew over 300 beautiful rose bushes in their yard. They enjoyed traveling to local and national rose competitions and won many awards for flowers and service to the club. He served two years as president of the Rose Society. Chuck had a great sense of humor and will be dearly missed.
