In Loving Memory of Catherine Yee (nee Addy)
Cathe was called home to be reunited with her beloved husband, Paul Yee, on Thursday, February 12, 2026. She was born on December 2, 1937, in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, to Carl and Mary (Kavecki) Addy.
Cathe dedicated over 25 years of her life in faithful service to God as a member of the Holy Cross Sisters in Merrill, Wisconsin. Her compassion for others continued throughout her life as she served as a social worker for the Red Cross, always extending a helping hand to those in need.
Cathe's zest for life and love for people were evident in everything she did. She delighted in travel, exploring Europe and the United States as she traced her family's roots. She found joy in volunteering at a local elementary school, reading to children, and sharing her warmth and kindness. A gifted gardener, Cathe took great pleasure in nurturing her flowers and creating beauty wherever she went.
Cathe was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mary (Kavecki) Addy; her brothers Donald, Dennis, and Alan Addy; brother-in-law Roy Manka; sister-in-law Susan (Stabner) Addy; niece Heidi Addy; niece Mary Lou Boettge (Addy); and nephew Keith Addy.
She is lovingly survived by her sister, Carolyn Manka (Addy), and sister-in-law, Vikki (Edgar) Addy. Cathe will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her cherished nieces and nephews: Karl (Christine) Addy, Laura Pergande, Keith Addy, Jason (Brenda) Addy, and Colleen (Addy) Walters, as well as many other dear relatives and friends.
Cathe's life was a reflection of faith, service, and love-a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
