IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cassandra Lynn
Putney
July 10, 1987 – April 22, 2024
Cassandra "Kassie" Lynn Putney, beloved wife, mother, sister, and daughter, passed away on April 22nd, 2024 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the young age of thirty-six. She was born on July 10th, 1987 in San Diego, California to Steven Mecozzi and Tammy Snyder.
Kassie's life was defined by her unwavering love for her family. Her devotion to the love of her life, Nicholas "Nick" Stern, and their five children - Hailey, Guy, Nick Jr., Kerri and Shawn - was the cornerstone of her existence. She created a home filled with warmth and laughter where love abounded.
Her siblings Krystal Konkel (Brad), Valerie Dawson (David), Kevin Mecozzi (Des'ola) were not just relatives but also dear friends who shared an unbreakable bond despite being scattered across different parts of the country. Kassie cherished these connections and made it a priority to stay connected with them throughout her life.
In addition to being a dedicated mother; she had an innate talent for cooking that brought joy to everyone around her table. Her culinary creations were always infused with love - a reflection of the kindness that emanated from within her heart.
Kassie's ability to find beauty in every moment endeared her to all who knew her. Her infectious optimism brightened even the darkest days for those fortunate enough to be touched by it.
The loss of Kassie leaves an indelible void in the lives of those she left behind; however they take solace knowing that she has left behind an enduring legacy of love and compassion which will continue through them as they carry forward the lessons she taught them about finding joy amidst adversity.
