Dey, Carrol Deane, passed peacefully into eternal life, July 13, 2023 at the age of 90.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gordon, her son Jeffrey, father,

Leslie, mother, Esther, and brothers Gene and James. Loving mother of Brian (Diane),

Grandmother of Jason (Karina), Chris (Jenny), Timothy (Summer), Jennifer, Bradley,

Ashley, Ben (Melissa), Chris and David, Great Grandmother of Owen, Claire, Carly, Drew, Camryn, Jack,

Loki and Freya. Loving sisters Sharon (Dennis) and Patricia (Andrew) and nieces and

nephews. Honorary family Helga, Patricia, Jerry, Jenna, Rocky, Jeremy, Rita, Evan and

Julie.

Carrol was one of the most compassionate caring and strongest woman you'll ever

meet. Born 3 1/2 pounds on September 1, 1932, she also successfully battled breast

cancer in the 1980's and nearly 7 years of dialysis. Baptized into the Lutheran church

at St. Stephens, where she also met her future husband Gordon and married him at the

age of 19. They were married for 59 years. She would later transfer to the Lutheran

Chapel of the Cross, where she sang in the choir and served in many capacities. Her

love of music was passed on to her sons, where she served as a chaperon and board

member for the Lake Band for 20 years.

She was a career woman who worked at Kyle Central, Teweles Seed Company and 20

years at the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel, where she retired at the age of 70. She had a

love of beagles; Abby, Abby 2, Abby 3 and Abby 4.

The family would like to thank all the medical professionals and caretakers for their

loving care.

A private service and committal will be held at a later date.
