(nee Facundus), Beloved wife of Rodney Swain, devoted Mother of Tammy (Alec) Pearson, Rebecca (Raphael) Busch-Hebert, Melida (Matthew) Busch and Reynold C. (Christine) Busch, III, proud grandmother of Jaclyn Bly, Rudi Ann Perez, Isabella Busch, Eliana and Isaiah Busch-Hebert and great-grandmother to Arabella and Imberlyn, departed this life on Monday, August 28, 2017. She follows her Father, Lee M. Facundus and Mother, Geneva R. Facundus (nee Tucker). She also leaves behind many dear relatives, friends and colleagues throughout the world. Carolyne was born and raised in Louisiana, moving on to live in Texas, Arkansas, Ohio and Wisconsin. She was an enthusiastic researcher, contributing to the fields of flight psychophysiology/human factors engineering, and family health planning, first at Systems Research Laboratories in Dayton, Ohio and then as the President and founder of MPRES, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI. Carolyne was dedicated to appreciating and increasing the beauty and elegance to be found in all aspects of life, whether her work, her home, her family or her leisure. She will be remembered for her kind and generous devotion to seeing the root of problems and working pragmatically to address those she could, or mentoring others to do so. Her keen powers of observation, combined with her sharp, sarcastic wit kept any room she entered thinking and laughing deeply. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at THE BASILICA OF ST. JOSAPHAT 2333 S 6th St, Milwaukee. Inurnment services to follow after mass at Forest Home Cemetery.
