It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol J. Pugh on

February 7, 2024, age 78. She passed peacefully at home.

Born on December 17, 1945, Carol was a beloved wife, devoted Mother and

Nanny, cherished sister, kind and generous member of her neighborhood.

Her legacy is carried on by her four daughters, Paula Freckmann, Angela Brown,

Dianna Freckmann, Claudia Kocalis, (George), and her nine grandchildren,

Xesswa Freckmann, Solomon Brown, (Margaret), Seneca Freckmann, Eleuterio

Rivera, Isabella Rivera, Zora Brown, Lorenzo Rivera, Anthony Kocalis, and Sonja

Kocalis, whom she nurtured with boundless love and unwavering support.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband Mark Pugh. Cherished sister of late

Marcella Dovi, dec!d, (Samuel dec!d), Josephine Grzenia, (Paul), Patricia

Krajnak (William dec!). Preceded in death by her parents Chester and Mary Ann

Langowski (Podgorski).

Carol was known for her generous heart, warmth, compassion and adventurous

spirit. She was an extremely talented seamstress and handworker. She took

great pride in creating garments for the people she loved. She spent many hours

at her sewing machine making things of beauty to outfit her family. She lit up with

pure joy in bestowing her loved ones with her work.

She was a true source of wisdom, guidance and comfort to her family and

friends. There was nothing of greater importance to her than her family, she

poured all of herself into the job of Mothering. She took great pride and joy in her

daughters, grandchildren and sisters. Her absence will be deeply felt.

A celebration of Carol's life will be held on Saturday February 17, 2024 at

Prasser Kleczka funeral home in Bay View. Visitation from 2-4pm, service at

4pm.
